This also follows the thinking on why we end up spending more on low cost / low quality barrels than on higher cost / quality barrels.

All the load development and repeat visits to the range add up and the $65 barrel has become a $300 dollar barrel that still can't shoot as well as the higher end barrel. Yes, there is the occasional 1 out of a dozen that can shoot "acceptable groups". That doesn't make the other 11 worth it, though.

Some things you can get away on the cheap side because "It's as good as". Barrels, and ammo are not in that list.
