It all depends on what your definition of "OK" is. Anything over .75 MOA in a 5 shot group for me is unacceptable, be it the ammo or my skills that day.
The spread is simply larger with Wolf than with Hornady Black.
As an example, Wolf shot out of 25 rifles in 5 shot groups, the average group will be 2", with a spread of 1 MOA to 5 MOA. Yes, there are a few members here that have managed to have a rifle that will shoot wolf at 1 MOA... Most don't come close. I have 5 barrels to shoot out of and the best group is 1.5 MOA, of the 5 barrels, probably a 1.85 MOA average. When you are used to printing .5 MOA groups or less, even 1.5 looks like crap.
The same 25 rifles shooting Hornady Black will have an average group of 1 MOA, with a spread of .3 MOA to 1.5 MOA....Because, yes, some rifles just don't like Hornady Black.
