Yes, that's the end game plan for this build. Tho it does introduce some interesting calculus into a lethal situation.
Someone's breaking down the door: do I grab my $1600 + $200 SBR stamp + $200 suppressor stamp + $600-1000 suppressor and risk the police "losing" it while the grand jury is pending, or grab my $400 Glock and just bust a replacement out from the safe as soon as the whole kerfuffle is over?
I suppose my only other question would be cleaning. How dirty does it get when you shoot it?
Dirty-- Oh yeah! It gets really dirty, but that's just the nature of the beast with suppressed weapons.
As far as money tied up in the evidence locker if something happens? HeHe, well I have plenty of others, and while I am on a budget and cognizant of most costs these days there is no second place in home defense. Losing would cost even more than lawyers in the long run as far as I'm concerned. Plus it also just happens to help justify some cool toys...
