Yes, that's the end game plan for this build. Tho it does introduce some interesting calculus into a lethal situation.
Someone's breaking down the door: do I grab my $1600 + $200 SBR stamp + $200 suppressor stamp + $600-1000 suppressor and risk the police "losing" it while the grand jury is pending, or grab my $400 Glock and just bust a replacement out from the safe as soon as the whole kerfuffle is over?
I suppose my only other question would be cleaning. How dirty does it get when you shoot it?
I bust out whatever is closest, since I don't tend to carry an AR around inside the house all that much! I then deal with whatever the aftermath may be. IF they decide they have to have my firearm, then it goes out the door ONLY after they have signed a receipt, including the value, of EVERY piece that goes with it. They get a copy for their evidence locker, and I get a copy for MY evidence locker!
Then my attorney gets a copy for HIS evidence file.
