Yes sir, ejection port side.

I prevent the feed lip so it would hold the round with a lil more nose up postion, that feed lip was holding the rounds on that side so the primer end of the round was above the bullet end.

Just use a pair of needle nose plyers to slowly bend up the section of feed lip that needs to be fixed to make it run correctly.

Thanks for the explanation. I just looked at mine. My two new ones have been stuffed with a full load of rounds for a couple of weeks now. The right side rounds don't seem to have a negative pitch that you described. So I will see how they run.

And I'm happy to report that the springs aren't overly stiff. I wonder why the 5-rounders are like that. Maybe they have a block in them compressing a 10-spring to start with.
