I don't plan to blaze ahead with modding my magazines without testing them thoroughly first. But I the issue occurs with any of them I would like to know a possible remedy.

Yes sir, ejection port side.
I prevent the feed lip so it would hold the round with a lil more nose up postion, that feed lip was holding the rounds on that side so the primer end of the round was above the bullet end.
Just use a pair of needle nose plyers to slowly bend up the section of feed lip that needs to be fixed to make it run correctly.
