I’ve stumbled upon Sixsigma a few times over the last couple of years either on message boards or via some digging with Google-fu. I can’t recall a single negative comment that carried any weight, though the website was a bit finicky. If I remember correctly, I found that interesting, as in thinking that these guys are too busy making the parts to flush out a shiny website. Actually, I can say after reading this thread that it is a good thing. Glad to see you guys are Grendel aficionados!

I will spread the word, several of my buddies that are wanting a Grendel who don’t want to build their own are always asking questions that mean they’re probably going to get a rifle at some point. I’ve got a couple buddies saving for their own LaRues. I can’t argue with that, but from the sounds of things you’re possibly a great source for a forged set/build.

I’m with LRRPF52. My experience isn’t as well educated as his, by a long shot. But the few I’ve built, I’d be happy with anything forged from BCM or Aero. There are probably others, Alexander Arms quality is new to me, 52s recommendation comes highly received.

I’d stay away from BCA, Radical, and anything not branded. Forgings are not equal, and the machinists that finish them are the same story. As are the finish allocators. These parts are worth spending another bit to get well made pieces.
