Soon to be retired military. I’ve been shooting since I was 5 or 6 and hunting since age 12. I chase waterfowl and upland birds. I shoot pistol in local competitions once in a while. I live in a semi-rural suburb of the nation’s capital but travel home to Alabama to hunt deer. I’ve used my 5.56 AR successfully but found the range limited. Enter the Grendel. Now I’ll be able to harvest animals from much greater distances. I’ll also be using it on hogs at a friend’s place in Georgia and may take a trip out west for elk.
