Commended by DA who along with the police did not want to release his gun back to have after being cleared of any wrong-doing. He had to threaten a lawsuit to get it back.

Then, after being heralded as a hero, it was learned he had been committing, and was later convicted of tax fraud, resulting in multiple felony convictions. He lost his guns.
