I'm pretty meticulous about setting up my rifles so it's nothing basic. I haven't checked the torque on the barrel but yet, but I'm probably going to move that barrel to a slick side receiver that I have so I can do it then.

I think this is just another example of you get what you pay for when you gamble on cheap barrels. Maybe 75% are good shooters, but 20% are mediocre and 5% may just be unshootable. This is definitely a mediocre barrel.

Before you do anything else, take the muzzle device off and shot a few rounds without it and see what it does.

I would be willing to bet if you redid the muzzle device with a accuwasher and lil to no tourqe, lapped the recover face,bedded the barrel, gas tube, gas block and reset the barrel nut tourqe too 35 inch pounds, it would shot much better groups.
