FWIW I just picked up a complete 6.5G 12 nitride upper w/BCG from Palmetto State Armory for $280 on sale, but currently out of stock. Their stainless steel 18 rifle length upper is around $350. They have a LOT of positive reviews.
Ive read all the negative posts on Radical Firearms, I gambled on a RF 7.62x39 10 upper minus BCG for $210 & free shipping from AIM Surplus. So far no issues, had it for several years, actually an above average shooter. No loose barrel extension. But Ive heard a LOT of bad feedback on their customer service so if anything goes wrong Im probably on my own. PSA and BCA are safer bets for under $400.
