I shot the POS barrel today. No tomato stake for this $50 barrel. My last five shot group was .620" at 50 yards using cheap Tula steel case 124gr HP (about 1.2 MOA).
The lands were still well formed near the muzzle even with the extra gouges. It is good enough to keep.
It even shoots cheap steel case ammo better than any Grendel barrel I have.
