I always use the carrier release, instead of sling shotting the charge handle, noticed some years ago that the slingshot method chews up charge handles. I still need to test with more rounds in the mag, might try to do that today if I get time. I don't crimp unless the bullet has a cannelure, and then just a kiss of crimp.
