Two questions in your post; thicker or thinner barrels and longer or shorter, all for 600yds.
Thicker barrels are stiffer and slower to heat up. Lite barrels tend to move as they heat up and so your group sizes will probably be bigger, especially with multiple shots. For hunting where you are only going to fire a couple of rounds without the smallest group expectations of target shooting then lite barrel are an advantage.
Longer barrels impart more velocity than shorter barrels. Faster bullets get to the target with less wind interference than slower bullets. Unless you are absolutely accurate with your wind calls (and who ever is?) then longer/faster barrels will group smaller than shorter barrels.
All the choices in your post will keep the bullet supersonic and therefore stable until 600. But longer/thicker barrels will, all things being equal, group tighter than shorter/lighter barrels. The downside is they are heavier and bulkier. One way of having your cake and eating it too is to buy an Olympic-quality short/lite barrel and shoot on calm days.
