I was also looking for a good 600 yard upper as that is the longest distance at any range in reasonable driving distance. Bought an upper from Grendelhunter, and it works great. Normally I would build one, but after hearing all the horror stories, I elected to buy a complete upper from someone with experience with the caliber and who had good luck with the components he was using. Yes, I might have saved about $100 building an upper myself, but I wanted it to work. I dont have the time to troubleshoot. First trip to the range, without any boresighting, I was ringing the small gongs at 600 yards, every single shot. I was very happy with my purchase. Now I need to find a spot where I can shoot 1000 yards. My only issue so far has been with the magazines (some of the 5 rounders are crazy tight). Got myself a 10 round mag and it had been functioning perfectly.
