Building for a friend

A very close friend of mine is over in Mosul right now with the Army and I have “talked” him into getting a Grendel. He’s asked me to do the shopping for him as long as I let him pay me back. Obviously I won’t let him pay me anything. This’ll be a commemorative build for him, his old unit, and his fallen brothers.

For a little background, he was a Marine with the Delta Company 3rd AABN (amphibious Assault battalion) with an MOS of 2141 and a secondary MOS of 0331. For the non military people 2141 is amphibious Assault vehicle mechanic and 0331 is a saw gunner.

I’m hoping to build him a rifle that is tank themed in 6.5 Grendel with a few surprises thrown in; such as YATYAS (you ain’t tracks you ain’t shit) which is their motto.

If anyone has any good deals that aren’t PSA, Primary Arms, or any of the super budget companies I would greatly appreciate the help! He gets back stateside in January so waiting for Black Friday deals is an option.
