New, unfired Lapua brass measures 1.202". Factory ammunition will be similar. That length will go into a 1.218/1.219" chamber easily and it doesn't matter that the chamber is slightly shorter than Mr Whitetail's amazingly mass-produced LaRue
. As long as the chamber is not shorter than new brass or factory ammo then all good. In fact, 1.218 means less stress when it expands than other guns, which can only be a good thing for the brass.
