Grendel AR upper build vs bolt action accuracy

The first 3 groups from my Odin 20 inch barrel in a rifle I assembled myself were .750 .862 and .750 respectively with factory Hornady SST. Decided it shot where I aimed it I have a Vortex Viper 6.5 x 20 x 44 optic (the lower cost version) I also got a Rock River 2 stage NM trigger in the $80-90 range. My whole build list was posted when I made the rifle a year and a half ago. The most expensive parts were the Odin Barrel and bolt, Vortex Scope, Luth AR MBA-3 and ADM recon 20 moa scope mount these alone ran close to a grand. Some of the parts like the $69 Rouse Sports 15inch Keymod forend were quite bargain basement. The rifle with scope also tips the scales at 10 lbs. A bolt gun should come in well under 10 lbs with optic unless one gets a 50 mm or large objective.
