6.5 G vs 300 Blk in 14.5" AR?

Thanks all. I would love to go the suppressed SBR route, but here in NJ I have a better chance of seeing a lechrapcon riding a unicorn than legally obtaining one. The problem with going the AR pistol route is that in NJ, you need one permit per pistol, and you can only buy one pistol per month, and each permit is only good for 90 days and it takes like 6 weeks to 6 months to get a batch of permits... so that would take a while and kill a permit that I could use for an actual pistol....
Also.... colaposable stocks are verboten...
So I'm going for a rifle as short and light as I can.

I have my 18" grendel for target and hunting, etc.
