Having worked with the media very frequently I can tell you that they absolutely DO have bias. They are people with opinions and not very many are good at not allowing that bias to spill into their work. You should not be able to tell by reporting where their position is, yet I can tell you where they stand. It is not "percieved" it is real and you are correct, it happens with most topics.
