Since my bias is pro gun, I guess my bias is true but to deny the media's anti-gun bias is being willfully naive. Days, weeks, months and years of rehashing of mass shootings with false or exaggerated narratives shows the medias anti-gun bias.

Please cite said "false or exaggerated" narratives.

First, I don't know why anyone would consider 20-year-old surveys especially noteworthy solely for the fact that they were never released.

Second, the CDC surveys had no apparent relevance to the issue of mass shootings.

Third, the CDC surveys were estimates, NOT provable facts.

When the national news decides to promote only one side of a very divisive political argument using the false premise of " yea or nay national news worthy", is what we call propaganda driven media. That is the very essence of bias. Under that logic, a mass shooting should only be local news worthy.

That's just silly. People throughout the country would want to know about a mass shooting at a concert in Las Vegas. Few people outside of Backwater, Washington care about a carjacker being killed there.

Sure it is. The idea that it was a "possible mass shooting" is unprovable speculation obviously meant to exaggerate the importance of the event. (The very type of "propaganda" that you accuse the media of doing.) It was attempted carjacking, a minor crime that would only get attention on the Evening News if the victim was someone like Kim Kardashian on her way to the White House to seek a Presidential pardon for a drug dealer.

Getting all the news and information is vitally important for decision making.

Certainly. But it's unreasonable to expect the national news programs to cover everything that happens in every part of the country. There simply is not enough time. The nightly news is packed into a half-hour time slot, of which 10 minutes is taken up by commercials.
