I have no dog in this fight, but if it was me in this situation I would ask the seller to disclose some sales receipts from AA for the barrels. To me it wouldn't really matter if the upper will chamber and shoot the round. They advertised and you paid for an AA barrel.

On the phone Bill said he wasnt 100% sure, if it was one of his he said it would be an early barrel (only ones without the grendel stamp), which is good and bad, awesome barrel, no real way to prove what it is.

And I agree, Bill has no record of them buying a 16", we will see if it shoots good or not.
