Overall, I am tightening the existing tolerances inherent in a mil-spec 5.56 bolt. No more so, really, than what is already being done.

Extractor hook — or lip, as you call it — increases in thickness from mil-spec 0.027 to 0.037 while maintaining mil-spec 50° ramp angle.
