I posted the Dead Air Odyssey-9 as an example of a modular design only. I have never used it and am not endorsing it. It is a 1.1" diameter 9mm handgun suppressor so unsuitable for the Grendel anyway. You can find examples of high-power, centre-fire modular suppressors if you look around.
The one time I attended the Sporting Rifle Match at the Whittington Centre all three of the TBAC luminaries were there (Zac, Ray 'Dog' and some quiet tall dude). The top shot prize was a TBAC suppressor. They also competed with everyone else which is great so I am just making the point that the long range tactical precision crowd might have a degree of TBAC loyalty because they have made the effort to get involved and embed themselves into the community. And good on them for doing this. Other manufacturers will be just as good however but finding which one is the best is the holy grail of difficult choices. The early model TBAC I handled on the day was heavy but since then they have come out with lighter offerings.
Regardless of which design you choose it needs to come off every time you store it. These things get heavily coated in carbon which in turn accumulates moisture. Leaving it attached to the end of your barrel in the worst possible place for corrosion control is asking for trouble.
