For a free case comparator get a fired 9mm case and place it over the mouth of a fired Grendel case.
Measure between both case heads with a .001" caliper keeping alignment straight. Write this number down.
Replace the Grendel case with your Grendel go and nogo gauge and measure again and write these numbers down.
Report these numbers here.
You can even do this over the bullet of a ready to fire, resized case if you use a 357 magnum case in place of the 9mm.
Alignment is important but otherwise it works the same as the $35 case comparator.
