The OP has Manson GO/NO GO gauges, a .125" bolt and both gauges are currently not closing.
While we both agree the Hornady Comparitor is a good bit of kit all he needs to do now is get a .136" and re-try with the gauges. If the GO gauge closes (and it will) and the NO GO gauge still does not close then he's good-to-go and this is the best outcome.
If both gauges close on a .136" bolt then as long as a FIELD gauge does not close then he's still OK, but it's not preferable for a new barrel. He does not have a FIELD gauge so if his GO/NO GO both close on a .136" then he needs to go back to the .125" bolt and hand-ream that chamber a tad more.
I'm just spelling it out in easy steps with the simplest solution. He can even return the .136" bolt if both gauges close, or try it in a gunshop before buying with permission of the owner. Or borrow a mates bolt.
