The most serious long term threat to the 2A is the demonization of firearms in schools.

When a kid is exoelled for bronging a picture of a firearm to school harassed for being at a range with family and posting a picture of the event, and so on, the clear outcome is that all too many will come to believe that firarms are have evil minds and self determination.

Combine that with continued loss of places to shoot in suburban areas and effectively none in densely populated areas, there are vanishingly small chances for people to come to understand that firearms are tools and do not have monds of their own.

Bottom line, we have to do a lot more than vote. We have to find and execute ways to get more people shooting!

It's rather unlikely that many people not confined to mental institutions actually believe guns have minds of their own and are capable of self-determination.

Other than that absurdity, you raise some good points. Do you have any suggestions for:

1. countering the anti-gun attitude shown by school personnel in the above examples?
2. getting more people into shooting when places to shoot are becoming less available?
