Lets face it, the United States is no longer united.

LOL. The United States has been divided ever since the beginning.
During the War for Independence, there were rebels and loyalists.
At the Constitutional Convention, there were Federalists and Antifederalists.
In the 1860s, there was an actual war between slave states and free states.
Later on, the country was divided by issues like women's suffrage, Prohibition, segregation, the Vietnam War, etc, etc.
This is nothing new.
