Suppressor license?

So the $200 is the tax for the suppressor, machine gun, or other destructive device. It was meant to create an additional exorbitant tax decades ago, cuz it was still $200 way back when. And as we've all heard our parents say..."I used to by a handful of candy when I was your age for a nickel." So imagine what $200 was 50+ years ago. The 200 bucks gets you the tax stamp that literally is a stamp on a document you are suppose to have with the device every where you take it.

I do have one for my AAC M4-2000 suppressor. I did have to wait 6-months to finally get the stamp from the ATF after submitting fingerprints and state LEO paperwork. It's a waiting game.
