18-20 inch barrel will be more than enough barrel.

I have considered doing this, but when I was building my .223 I decided it wasn't worth the cost of tooling up. What tools do I need to install a barrel? If it is cost advantageous I may look into it, I'm definitely not afraid to put things together myself.
