There are probably very few 18" 6.5 Grendel barrels in a Rifle Length Gas System (RLGS) as opposed to a Mid-Length Gas System (MLGS).
RLGS is supposed to be smoother shooting.
MLGS is supposed to be more reliable with more bullet weights.
