Just back from Junction, TX hunting trip. My 15 year old took a 110 lb doe with my home built Grendel using the AA "cheap" factory ammo with Berger 115 HPBT.
100 yard shot into lower neck on a forward quartering doe. She dropped on the spot and never got up. The opposite shoulder was blown out from shrapnel (roughly 4-6 inch wound channel at shoulder).
