Prayers for a fellow member

First, allow me to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the well-wishers and those who are/were praying for me. As I explained to kmon, prayers are sustaining.

This experience has taught me there is never any such thing as “routine“ surgery. Between the kidney failure, liver failure, and respiratory failure I needed all the prayers I could get and then some.

Now that I am home recuperating, I am tasked with one of the hardest recoveries I’ve experienced. The real pain is that I am not allowed to lift anything more than ten pounds, and driving or shooting is absolutely off the list of permitted activities. It could be worse.

Again, thanks to all you saints and well-wishers. It’s good to be back.
