I’m doing it just for the fun factor, cost effectiveness of projectiles, less recoil with a 75-90 gr bullet. 75 grain eld-m in .224 has a BC of .467 where that weight class in 6mm is around .320-.340. Where it would really shine is with a really high BC 90 grain pill. That may be something I look at if/when I order a reamer and do a bolt rig. There are some problems with some barrel makers getting the Valkyrie to shoot the heavies accurately, so they’re reworking their barrel setup. I would imagine going with a 6 twist. The whole Valkyrie thing is what really got me looking at it though.
