Tungsten buffer weights?

So... Physics makes my brain hurt, but I'm ready to move onto the next phase of Grrr tuning. I've always run CAR buffers and springs in my builds, but it's time to see if going to a heavier buffer will help soften recoil. Are these weights a good starting point? Seem to be a decent price with $0 s/h... Already dialed in Superlative Arms AGBs on my 12.5" & 20", will these weights make a difference above and beyond the AGBs?
