1. An assault weapons ban cannot stop mass killings. (Which we already knew, from incidents in other countries.)
[B]2. An assault weapons ban apparently can stop mass killings with assault weapons[/B]. (In Australia, anyway. )

Maybe in "Stan Statistics" here, which is all you care about. Even with your carefully caveated "in Australia" blurb.
