Someone, please, go find the stat's!!! How many of these kids that are determined to shoot up their world are ( were? ) also addicted to violent video games!!!, games like "Grandtheft Auto" and the like where killing and mayhem are the core value of the whole thought process? How many of them were never afforded any correctional discipline ( aka - a paddling ) for their behavior when they got out of line as youngsters? How many of 'em have shown a liking for violence since they were very young, such as skinning the neighbors cat, while it screamed? I suspect that there are a lot of commonalities, but to several of the points above, society says "OH! Poor kid, they will outgrow it" or some such nonsense.
It ain't our side, folks, that is screwed up! But we are an easy target because we are identifyable ( because of our chosen tools ( toys?). As long as they can blame us, they don't have to take the blame, themselves! If we are to be determined to be guilty until we can prove our selves innocent ( what Constitution ! ) then we need to shout from the rooftops that the core problems, for the most part, started in the home of those kids long before they pulled the triggers.
Their families piled up the kindling, society lit the match and their peers took the hit and we will pay the price - unless we can shout louder than they do.
I don't always agree with the NRA and I am sick of the editorializing of the NGOA and the others, but thank God they are here at this moment in time. Please, if you can, support 'em all!
