As someone who admittedly listens to too much Alex Jones at the Reloading Bench, its all sleeping with the devil. Going from an iPhone to Android is really no different than saying goodbye to Nancy Pelosi and hopping into bed with Diane Feinstein. I never store passwords / ccs on anything and am not a huge app user, so well see. I do like that the software and hardware providers are different companies but most important, the Active phones are beefy and more suited to my lifestyle and abuse I dish out. iPhones cant handle much more than a Soy Boy lifestyle of traveling to and fro Starbucks and Art Galleries in the pocket of a pair of skinny jeans.
But as it relates to the OP, a Proof CF barrel, while expensive, it doesnt cost as much as the latest and greatest smartphone, it will last longer, it will do exactly what you ask it to do, and perhaps most important, the folks in Columbia Falls will never use it to spy on you
