Not sure if mine was legit. It was bought at a show with no markings besides some XX's scribed in it to signify it was factory reject. So now that disclaimer is out of the way. It was decent for the $100 or so i paid. Kinda crude and clunky certainly not refined. But solid and HEAVY. I really like the quick detach post and the way you squeeze the legs to deploy them. AND the way you can fold them forward or backward. But that same mechanism makes them rattle. sadly never got to use it much i had to sell it for cash.
I think i prefer harris as well its the best compromise all in all. Bi pods are one of those things I've never really truly been happy with. They are either to heavy, flimsy, to expensive etc. Idk i guess I'm just to picky or need to put up and shut up.
Never tried the nicer GG&G's or others. Many around here prefer tripods depending on what your doing.
