I built my 10.5" 264LBC in 2015.

Yea I know it is not a "true" Grendel. I was given so much grief I did my own comparison between the 20" and the 10.5". You can find my write up at

I think it will be great in SBR form. Using factory ammo it did OK with a 4x scope so with a higher power I don't there is no reason to get into a different caliber for SBR or pistol.

I just may build another with a SAAMI chamber.
