So this is just a mock-up for now to get a feel for where it's headed. The mag catch, castle nut, end plate, takdown/pivot pins, ejection port door, etc. are all Titanium. I'm also getting the SLR Sentry7 Ti adjustable gas block as well. I couldn't help myself - I love the Black/Silver look! From my calculations, the total weight will be just a hair over 6.0 lbs. The barrel is the AA 18", and the handguard is the V-Seven ultra-light LiAl 15" handguard:

I'll be assembling it with my daughter when she's home for Christmas. She's a Marine, been serving in Okinawa for the last 2 years, and this build is sort of a present to her (the gun is still mine, though!).
