This is what the 22 nosler should have been. The ability to shoot the longer higher bc 224 bullets is a big improvement. From a target stand point it's legit. Why not the 6mm? That is a valid point. I can only speculate on the popularity of 224 in the AR crowd versus anything 6 mm. For hunting give me a heavier bullet and at nominal ranges I'll take the Grendel. Yes folks have been wildcatting both the 6.8 and 6.5 cases for years. Whitley has the 6mmar, ARP has done 224 and 6mm on both the Grendel and 6.8 case.
