Good rule of thumb to get a more realistic idea of LR performance is to use the G7 drag model, or doppler even better. The G1 tends to only work well within 600yds, since G1 is based on a flat-based bullet model, not Boat Tail.

.224 Valkyrie would have been an interesting service rifle cartridge, as well as LMG and Sniper round.

6mm would allow more barrel life and higher BC, plus more retained energy.

Hornady kinda dropped the ball with the 6mm Hagar by making the case so long that you can't mag feed VLDs or any of the 105gr and higher target bullets.
