Mmmmm….I am thinking NOT! Check out Les Baer’s website (he has both). His uber-cool guaranteed better than a half MOA AR’s run from $2300-$2600 (without adding a scope), while his uber-cool guaranteed, etc, etc custom bolt actions start at $3560 and move north…quickly! For the little bit of work I have had done on my .243 I could have bought another AA upper.
In all honesty, I do not know why top end bolt guns cost so much, I am guessing part of it is due to the labor required of specialty gunsmiths.
