Need a heavier buffer?

I recently bought a GrendelHunter upper for my AR carbine, which until now has seen only the original 5.56 upper. Empty brass is being flung well forward of the muzzle, making the 5.56 brass seem a very local thing. Since the 6.5G is a more powerful round, am I simply seeing the results of a more rambunctious recoil reaction, one that can be tamed by a heavier buffer?

It would be a sad thing indeed if I were “forced” to buy another (dedicated) lower receiver, but some days we just have to do what we must......
