b. The woman who lost her life was murdered by a Nazi sympathizer driving his car at high speed into a crowd. That crime was on him, and him alone.
c. The two men in the helicopter crew were killed in a crash; suspected cause, engine failure. Odds are if they had been in the air at that time for a different mission, they would still have crashed.
