acog question

Just used a TA01NSN (corsshair reticle) on my grendel today. I have to say, I like the crosshairs reticle much better than the Red Donut (TA31). I've also used the red chevron; I still prefer the cross hairs though.

You definitely can't find a nicer, more compact 4-power scope. The glass is bright and clear. They are expensive little optics though.

I too have used all three reticle patterns and thought the X hair was the best. And you are correct in saying that it is compact. They are also extremely durable and can take abuse that the Leupold and Night Force can't. I would question the quality of the glass but for what the Army wanted, no one else could make something as durable. That thing is tough even if it is prone to some problems that it shouldn't have for its price.
