you know i can remember firing a dry m-16 a fer 600-900 rounds at a time.
might have had a dab of dry lube on it somewhere--
but 5,000???
RF85 sounds good on paper --
i do know that mr henderson ran some treated m-16s on his rental range and the no-lubes didn't finish a day.
seems like there is some kind of break in for rf85 ??
i'm thinking of testing one of their barrels-- with the coating.
