how true and well reasoned J Wilson..
My primary need is home defense and the occasional invader hog shooting. the light would be useful for hogs or even intruders at night, The laser could go, but its so small( and it does give my wife a lot more confidence if she has to use the gun since she is not really a shooter,,, i am working on that ).
The bipod can go: I only use that for target shooting; the forward grip is not indispensable... but it does give me a good place to anchor the light switch.... The Eotech has to stay... i love it.
I guess i could lose the laser if i get the wife used to the eotech....
BUT If "the barrack hits the fan", I would lose the light and regain the bipod so i can engage targets at longer ranges prone...
Hell! Thats the beauty of the rail system: It can be rigged for just about any need. I love it.
