Velocity? I've heard there is a real difference in a somewhat slow round already. Somebody used the number 30 fps per inch. 120 more fps is substantial if that is an accurate number. For hunting, you want plenty of either weight or velocity or a good combination of both to be sure the bullet does the work properly. Of course, you gotta worry about weight but that is not a big deal in my mind. My upper has a 24" Satern fluted barrel. I believe it is a lighter upper than my 20" billet 223 AR by a substantial amount. YMMV.
